PETANQUE CLUB, SUNDAY 12-2

Sunday, 4th of September will be the anniversary of the First Big Rumble. The Lyttel Stitches will be at the Petanque Club between 12 and 2 to stitch wooly hero-medals. Come and join us, bring along your special silver and gold buttons to add to your medal.  Also calling all knitters, bring along your needles and wool (some wool provided) to help create the world's only (?) knitted container cozy, to brighten up one of the many containers in Sumner. Hopefully there will be fresh pikelets sizzzzling away and some live music. If you have another appropriate idea let us know so we can advertise it. Or just turn up to celebrate that we are still here, to celebrate our resilience, to celebrate that our sense of community has got stronger.Hope to see you all there!
