Lyttelton Harbour Festival of Lights |
29th July 2011 from 6pm to 10:30 pm.
The 2011 Lyttelton Harbour Festival of Lights is a winter celebration of everything Lyttelton. Be entertained and enthralled by our masked parade, bands, musicians, dancers, street performers, stalls, LPC firework display, face-painters and much more.
There will be a shuttle bus running all night from 5:30 until 11pm from outside Countdown at Ferrymead to LPC main building Lyttelton. Identify the bus by the festival posters in the window. Gold coin donation”.
Our Street Party opens at 6pm with an amazing Masked Parade (assembling from 5:30pm at the Recreation Centre on Winchester St), followed by an exciting programme of local bands and musicians on the Main Stage, featuring

Also watch out for fabulous performances from our belly dancers, hip hop dancers, experimental music from the Borderline Ballroom Collective, buskers and street entertainers, including performers from the Loons Entertainment Club.

Garage Sale Opens Thursday Afternoons |

Our weekly garage sale is now opening its doors on a Thursday afternoon from 2-4pm. We usually have a sorting session and are receiving so many goodies at the moment that we thought why not open up to the public to!
So head down (or up) to the garage sale at the Portal, 54a Oxford st, Lyttelton and grab some bargains....
