September 2010 earthquake we decided it was time to celebrate the strong and resilient community that we are! Our Lyttelton community had been through an exhausting, and adventurous couple of weeks. It was time to kick back and have some fun. We got together, laughed and talked, and shared our stories from the past weeks. The Lyttelton Club Inc on Dublin St kindly offered their venue for this event. A great venue with plenty of space for kids and families. Huge thanks to Carolyn the Clown for entertaining both children and adults! Many thanks to all our wonderful time bank members for all their hard work and effort over the past few weeks. You helped the fire brigade take down chimneys, soothed the trumatised, loaned an ear, provided an ongoing stream of baking, got disarrayed homes back to order and assited the Lyttelton Medical Centre by way of phoning all clients 65 and over. You went the extra mile and went to homes of those that you couldn't raise by phone. Time Bank rocks!
